October 26th - Last Points Race , 2 PM Trick or Treat Race . Bring Your kids in Costume and get candy. Prizes awarded for the best costumes. Also we will run our "Guest" Cart class again this week.Great Racing last week from those guys along with our regulars it was a awesome day.Come on out!
We will run this like a regular Sunday show. Inspection starts at 11:30, Drivers meeting at 1:30 and Hot Laps Start at 2:00 See you there!
The points races in Local stock and GP are coming down to the last race. Jacob Clark took over the points lead this week by 50 points. Mike Schumacher has a chance to get it back .
In GP Derik See and Brandon Patava have young Michael Love in their sights as he still holds a slight lead over them. He better watch out . He gave up alot of ground to them with a DNF in heat one last week. The veteran Brandon Patava took advantage of it and took the win with "the ol' dinosaur" as he calls it. The one they both better be watching is Derik See. If he gets out front they may both be watching from the pack. Also Mike DeBruyn may just want to be the spoiler in this deal because you never know when he will sneak up and take a win.
In FXS Marty Knunkle now has a 50 point lead with one race to goe . James Clark is in second and Marty Murphy a distant third. Knuckle has been dominant as of late not only here but on the national seen. Making the front page of The Des Moines Register , such a ham.
FXT is still between JJ and Matt. Another DNF and JJ could win.So the whole thing is up for grabs. Will this weekend be Trick or Treat for your favorites ? Come out and enjoy a fun, family friendly day at River Bottom Raceway in Carlisle , IA.

Thanks to our friends at Logan Contractor Supply we will be racing under lights Saturday September 13th at 7:30 PM . This is is a points race and by the way points will be calculated soon. Thanks for your patience. My score keeper went to college. This was great time last time under the lights and will be again. Tell your friends and bring your family and spend the evening watch some off the best mower and cart racing in the Midwest. Adults $5 and kids 10 ad under are free. Concessions available at The Food Shack , cooking by Mama Baber, or bring a cooler filled with the beverage of your choice and sit down and let us entertain you. Will Mike Schuacher continue his winning ways and hold off young up start Race Bennett? Our GP class is tight with Brandon Patava , Michael Love and Rookie Derik See battling for the top spot , but don't write off Bill Neisham and Mike DeBruin who are poised to make a run to the end. These two are not going to let the kids just run away with the hardware. FXS and FXT classes are always fast with Matt Modlin and JJ 11K Altemier not backing down to the 150 machine pilioted by the farmer out of Carson , Iowa Paul Krueger. Paul is coming off back to back national wins at Tampico , Illinios. He also rocked a mean showing on his BP. FXS is coming down to tight races with Marty Kunkle and James Clark running hard. Marty Murphy is still looking for his first checkered at RBR this year after a good showing in Nebraska and a rough day in Illinois. The carts are coming down to one word "Dailey". Who is going to knock him down a peg? We'll see and we hope to see you there!

We had a great showing at the Illinois Nationals race last weekend. Congratulations to Paul Kruegar on 1st place finishes in the FXT class on both days. Especially Saturday night overcoming mechanical problems to take the win. Also a great showing by Justin Altemeier finishing up towards the front both days. In FXS James Clark did great with a second on Sunday and a third on Saturday while Marty Kunkle did well with a second on Saturday and a third on Sunday. Our GP racers ran strong both days with Brandon Patava taking home the win on Saturday , with Derik See taking third and Mike De Bruin in 5th. On Sunday Derik See represented us well with a 5th place finish ,but we had numerous racers up front challenging for the lead with Michael Love charging through the pack more than once and Mike DeBruin leading for a time. It was a great job guys! Also I want to acknowledge Brian Fox for a great job in his first ever start. Nothing like a national race to break you in. Good job goes out to Matt “I don’t use my Brakes any ways” Tucker in coming in Second in AP on Saturday. Young Webster did well also in GPK.
The week before we traveled to Cass County Fair in Nebraska for a show with our friends from Kansas. It was a a lot of fun seeing them and making some new friends. We put on a really good show with Marty Kunkle and Marty Murphy racing hard in the modified class , that was a blast by the way. Thanks Marty. Michael and Dan Love spent some family time in GP with Derik See bringing in second place at the event.Thank you to The American Heartland Lawn Mower Racers for facilitating this great event and we hope to return next year. Hope to see you at the next race , Sunday August 24th at River Bottom Raceway in Carlisle , Iowa.
